You know you’re a distance runner when…

distance runners are weird

1. You can’t sleep the night before a long run because you are too excited

2. You can’t sleep before any run because you are too excited

3. Rest days are never as enjoyable of a day

4. You have a hard time staying under 6 miles, during training/weekday runs

5. You rather walk then do a 5k race

6. You start to get your groove on and really feel good at mile 6

7. You blow through your entire I-pod shuffle way too many times (yes, I need an I-pod)

8. You can always do ONE more mile

9. It’s not a distance run unless it’s over 13.1

10. You actually like ice-baths

WORKOUT – 13.1, including hills
